For the Love of Hong Kong

Our love affair with Hong Kong started way back in April 2008 when my older sister got an expatriate assignment for four months in this cosmopolitan city. She invited us to stay at her serviced-apartment unit for almost 2 weeks. After a lot of walking, shopping, sight-seeing, dining and dancing Mike and I  always made sure that we get to go here at least once a year.

I am sharing some photos (courtesy of my better half: Mike) of our latest Hong Kong trip together with my friend Rhea who came with her husband and brothers who happen to be our friends too. One of Rhea’s brothers, Ryan, is a fellow blogger.

Mike and I stayed at Butterfly on Morrison

After checking-in at our hotel, we already took off to Times Square so Mike can buy his much awaited Canon 550d. ;)

I just love the newly-planted tulips at the Times Square Piazza.

Mike’s favorite soup in Crystal Jade (La Mian Chili Soup)

The infamous Xiao Long Bao (steamed pork dumplings) from Crystal Jade

I always remember my friend Phoebe every time I would pass by a makeup store ;)

We went to Stanley Market and Repulse Bay with the Ebardos, Vargases and Ms. Jade Tan :)
