Kaye Cunanan of K by Cunanan Catering recently held a thanksgiving party to celebrate a successful 2010 at the Blue Leaf ‘s Banyan Pavilion. We are among the couples who got married in 2010 that were fortunate enough to book them as our wedding caterer and also to be part of this wonderful occasion.
Here’s a little something from their blog:
I’d like to think that we’re not your traditional caterer. We help come up with inspired events–giving importance to food of course and making sure that your guests taste something new yet comforting. But we try to stretch our service by helping create an atmosphere your guests will remember, one filled with details that would reflect your personal style and taste.

Here’s a list of appetizers, main course, desserts present at the said event:
- sea bass with mango salsa and coconut cream (usually red snapper)
- roast beef ribs
- honey nut prawns (our favorite!!!)
- crackling pork wraps
- cheese station
- mini burgers with foie gras
- squid ink paella
- truffled pecorino mac n’ cheese
- shrimp and quinoa salad
- steak with ponzo sauce and truffle butter
- tuna tataki
- sushi nachos
- white chocolate cake
- chocolate mousse with candied hazelnuts and strawberries
- russian tea cookies
- grilled pineapple with ginger syrup
- queso de bola cheesecake
- croquembouche (a gift from Joy San Gabriel)
- wine and alcoholic beverages were provided by Juicebox (owned by Kaye Cunanan’s brother Mac)
The chandeliers, candles, floral arrangements, sofas, bossa nova band and the Vera Wang plates are so gorgeous. The food is so delicious. We also saw our other wedding vendors that night. It was like a reunion.
Sigh! It was nice to see our dream team again.
